Here are the top cultural events happening in DC this week (April 15–20) — curated by Early Burdz for professionals, creatives, and art lovers in their 20s to 50s.
1. 30s/40s Hiking & Nature Getaway to Upstate NY. On Friday May 30, we’re hosting a weekend trip to Tannersville, NY. We’ll take a charter bus to and from the city, with champagne offered on the way up. Join to meet new people, explore scenic trails, dive into art and antiques, and unwind at a cozy house with a hot tub, pool, and games. Choose from private and shared rooms. Limited spots! 2. 20s/30s Mixer after the National Museum of American History. We’re hosting a 20s/30s mixer after the National Museum of American History tomorrow. After exploring the museum, we’ll move to a nearby bar for drinks. We have 38 RSVPs. Join here.
3. 40s/50s Mixer after the Hirshhorn Museum. We’re hosting a 40s/50s mixer after the Hirshhorn Museum on Sunday, April 27. Join here.
5. 30s/40s Mixer after the National Gallery of Art. We’re hosting a 30s/40s mixer after the National Gallery of Art on Sunday, May 4. Join here.
6. Gallery parties and other events. DC’s becoming a primary city for Early Burdz. Check out our DC hosts below! Some of the events we’ll roll out are:
– gallery party (we provide a curated guestlist and exposure for the gallery and the gallery provides a venue and refreshments)
– art & brunch events (we explore various galleries in a neighborhood then mingle over bottomless brunch)
– weekend getaways (we take a charter bus to a destination location like Shenandoah or Harper’s Ferry for a weekend trip)
