Here are the top cultural events happening in New Jersey this week (April 19 – May 4) — curated by Early Burdz for professionals, creatives, and art lovers in their 20s to 50s.
1. 30s/40s Mixer after the Montclair Art Museum. We’re hosting a 30s/40s mixer after the Montclair Art Museum tomorrow. We’ll explore the museum then grab drinks nearby. We already have 23 RSVPs. Join here.
2. 30s/40s Hiking & Nature Getaway to Upstate NY. On Friday May 30, we’re hosting a weekend trip to Tannersville, NY. We’ll take a charter bus to and from the city, with champagne offered on the way to the house. Join to meet other beginner hikers, explore scenic trails, dive into art and antiques, and unwind at a cozy house with a hot tub, pool, and games. Choose from private and shared rooms. Limited spots! 3. Gallery parties and art events. NJ’s becoming a primary location for Early Burdz. If you’re interested in hosting events, please reach out. Some of the events we’ll roll out are:
– gallery party (we provide a curated guestlist and exposure for the gallery and the gallery provides a venue and refreshment)
– art & brunch events (we explore various galleries in a neighborhood then mingle over bottomless brunch)
4. Travel. It’s going to be a busy next few weeks! We’re in Chicago today, and in Philly and DC this weekend. And of course, we’re in the Catskills at the end of May.
