Here are the top cultural events happening in LA this week (May 20–25) — curated by Early Burdz for professionals, creatives, and art lovers in their 20s to 50s.
1. 40s/50s Mixer after the Hammer Museum. We’re hosting a 40s/50s mixer after the Hammer Museum later today. We’ll explore the museum then grab drinks nearby. We already have 98 RSVPs. Join here.
2. 30s/40s Mixer after the Broad Museum. We’re hosting a 30s/40s mixer after the Broad Museum tomorrow. We already have 74 RSVPs. Join here.
3. Gallery parties and other events. LA’s becoming a primary city for Early Burdz. Reach out if you’re interested in hosting events in June! As a primary host, you receive a third of event profits. Some of the events we’ll roll out are:
– gallery party (we provide a curated guestlist and exposure for the gallery and the gallery provides a venue and refreshment)
– art & brunch events (we explore various galleries in a neighborhood then mingle over bottomless brunch)
– weekend getaways (we’ll likely plan weekend events in Los Angeles. For example to Joshua Tree or Santa Barbara)
4. Travel. We have upcoming events in NYC, DC, Miami, SF, Chicago, New Jersey, and Boston. We’re in the Catskills at the end of May. We’ll take a charter bus from New York to the house. On July 19, we’re taking a charter bus from NY to the Hamptons. We’ve been invited as VIP guests to an art exhibition featuring a reception, performance, and after party.
