These casual, friendly walks are open to everyone — from first-time gallery-goers to seasoned art lovers. Come explore cutting-edge exhibitions, sip complimentary wine, and meet fellow creatives and professionals along the way.
âť“What is a gallery hop?
A gallery hop is a social walk through multiple contemporary art galleries in a neighborhood. At each stop, you’ll view rotating exhibitions, often with complimentary wine and open hours during the evening.
đź“ŤWhere does the gallery hop start?
The starting location changes weekly depending on the featured route. After you RSVP, you’ll receive the starting gallery location by email the day before the event.
🗓️ When does it happen?
Our gallery hops take place every Thursday evening, typically starting around 6:00 PM and running until 8:00 PM. Some guests continue the night with optional drinks or dinner nearby.
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Who attends these events?
Expect a fun, welcoming group of professionals, creatives, and art lovers — mostly in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. Many people come solo, while others bring friends or coworkers.
đź’¸ Is it free?
Yes! Our gallery hops are completely free to attend. Just RSVP ahead of time to receive updates and the starting location. Some galleries offer wine or refreshments at no cost.
🍷Will there be drinks?
Many galleries serve complimentary wine or light refreshments during Thursday openings. While we can’t guarantee it at every stop, it’s common to enjoy a glass or two during the evening.
🤔 Do I need to know anything about art?
Not at all. No prior art knowledge is required. Whether you’re an art novice or a collector, you’ll feel comfortable and welcome — our events are about discovery and connection, not art-world status.
🧠How many galleries do we visit?
Typically 4–6 galleries. The route is curated weekly and designed for a mix of variety and walkability within Chelsea.
🧥 What should I wear?
Smart casual or “gallery chic.” You’ll be walking outdoors between venues, so comfortable shoes are a good idea. No dress code — just be yourself.
📸 Can I take photos?
Yes — most galleries allow photography unless otherwise noted. Feel free to take photos of the art (and the vibes), and tag us on Instagram @earlyburdz.
đź’¬ Is it okay to come alone?
Absolutely! Many guests come solo — and our hosts are there to welcome you, make introductions, and keep the experience social. It’s a great way to meet people.
đź“· Will photos or video be taken?
Yes — our host will usually capture content to feature on our Instagram or Threads pages. If you’d prefer not to be included, just let the host know at the start and we’ll happily respect that.
